Great Swamp, NY     16 May 2004 Cold Spring Kayak Club Paddle

The Great Swamp is located on the NY/CT border near the border between Dutchess & Putnam Counties in NY.  The water that flows through the swamp ends up as NYC drinking water.  A great place to kayak or canoe but there can be several difficult areas due to fallen trees and beaver damns.
