Norrie Point, NY

This was a Cold Spring Kayak Club (CSKC.org) paddle.  We met and started the paddle from the Mills Mansion / Norrie Point Park.  Located on Old Post Road in Staatsburg, N.Y.

The site has Dutchess Community College environmental building you can walk through.  There is information about the river, local wild life and fish tanks with native fish species.

Hyde Park Marina is also located here.

Mills Mansion was the country home of Ogden and Ruth Livingston Mills, built in 1895-96 and furnished in the styles of Louis XIV, Louis XV and Louis XVI.
