Located near Doylestown, Pennsylvania, in Bucks County, Peace Valley Park consists of 1500 acres of public land, including a 365 acre lake, Lake Galena. Miles of hiking trails afford solitude with lakeside and streamside views.
This was the first time Rob tried kayaking.  He did very well.  There was a variable wind that day.  Sometimes the wind was calm with pretty smooth water and sometimes a stiff wind blowing across the lake which made for more chop than I would like for someones first paddle..

Nockamixom State Park, PA

The 5,283-acre Nockamixon State Park surrounds the 1,450-acre Lake Nockamixon. The park’s forests and fields are a large green space in this rapidly developing area. In northern Bucks County.  The day was windy with calm waters in the protected areas but some chop in the open sections of the lake.
