Little Tupper Lake Paddle
22 August 2006
Adirondack Vacation
Little Tupper Lake is controlled by NY State and the only public access is through their office areas.  The lake is off limits to motors and is very quiet and peaceful.

While paddling on Little Tupper Lake we saw and immature Bald Eagle, a couple of Ospreys, a few Common Loons and a River Otter.

It was overcast and threatening most of the day.  We were probably about 3/4th of the way around the lake when we heard thunder in the distance and headed straight back to the take out.  It started to rain as we hit the beach and we tied the kayaks to the truck in a pouring rain.
