Hudson River, Germantown, NY
June 16, 2007

We decided to paddle a part of the Hudson River we haven't paddled yet.

We started in North Germantown at the public boat ramp and headed north.  We went as far as Catskill, just south of the Rip Van Winkle Bridge (Route 23).  We crossed over to the west side and headed south.  When we saw lightning and heard thunder we crossed back over the to the east shore and headed for the boat ramp.

Not a lot of wildlife but a pleasant day on the water.
