Looking at some of the outfitters in the area for a new place for us to paddle we found 'Manatee Cove Park'.  It is on the Indian River on Merritt Island.  We followed the directions we got from the Brevard County web site and got lost.  At one point the directions say 'right turn' when they really mean 'left turn'.  (I e-mailed them but they haven't corrected the web site)

We did a 3.5 mile paddle.  A very nice day.  We saw a couple of Manatees, a few Dolphins and many birds.  We paddled around a couple of un-named islands and had lunch on one of the islands.
