JN 'Ding' Darling National Wildlife Refuge.
My sister, Jane, and I spend the day at the Ding NWR on Sanibel Island in southern Florida.
The day is in three groups due to the number of photos I took and want to show.
November 5, 2009
     1-Tram Ride.  A guided tour by tram of the NWR
     2-First Drive.  Our first of two drive thru the NWR on our own.
     3-Second Drive.  Our second drive thru the NWR
                               Babcock/Webb Wildlife Management Area, Punta Gorda
                                    Was hoping to see a Red-cockaded Woodpecker.  Didn't.
                I did see deer hunters using a cross between a hotrod & a deer stand.
                Pretty area. Saw other birds and just enjoyed a quiet day in the woods

                                           Highlands Hammock State Park, Sebring, Florida
                                                       Spent the day walking/driving around the park
                     (Hammock: in the southern U.S., an area of forested land that rises
                          above a marsh)

                                                                                                           Another day spent at the 'Ding' NWR.
                                                  Another day with so many photos that I have to show them in groups.
                                       I drove the Wildlife Drive four times - Each drive has its own photo grouping
