Goose Creek Reservoir Paddle, Charleston, SC
Saw many Alligators and birds. Herons & Egrets were nesting.
Started out calm but wind and chop kicked up after we started.

Explored the Island and walked on some beaches.
Pretty island with some natural areas left.

Sewee Visitor & Environmental Education Center
A dark, rainy day. Drove around exploring. Found a visitor center.
Very interesting center. Didn't take many photos, dark and raining.

Beautiful sunny day. Paddled about 5 miles.
Saw 2 Alligators, Turtles and Birds.

Insect we saw on the back deck of the house after dark.
I didn't try to id them so I have no names for the insects.

Cat Island, Wando River, SC
Paddle on the Wando River to Cat Island to look for fossil shark teeth.
We found them. Beautiful day for a paddle too.

Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge, SC
Power boat out to Bull Island then hike around the island.
Very interesting and varying terrain.

Angel Oak, John's Island, SC
Heading home we stop at Angel Oak on John's Island south of Charleston.
Reported to be oldest living thing east of the Missippissi at over 1,500 years.
The tree is huge and impressive.
