Go for a walk...

Barbara and John decide to take a afternoon walk in Stewart State Forest in Newburgh. We park in a parking area with a DEC road sign for Weed Road.   We start walking in.  We set a very slow pace and take the time to “smell the roses”. We saw a doe White-tail Deer with two fawns, many butterflies and lots of wildflowers.  A gray squirrel with a corn cob in it’s mouth tried to hide from us behind a tree.  We even found a few birds, some ducks and geese. A beautiful day for a walk in the woods.
