Wappingers Creek & Lake, Wappingers Fall, NY     Mike and I paddle Wappingers Creek from the Hudson River to the dam (falls)               then we load up the kayaks and put in on Wappingers Lake and paddle                                                                                       the lake up the small falls.                                                                                    Saw some turtles and birds.                                                  Special sighting was a Black-capped Night Heron                                                                                                           July 19, 2009

Cannonsville Reservoir, Deposit, NY Bob & Mike join me for a delightful paddle on a NYC reservoir. A 3 year pilot program.  Must get boat steam cleaned, permit and pass (all free). Full Moon Paddle, Cold Spring, NY With ADK Club (but they changed date to Friday & I wasn't told) Met 3 paddlers waiting for other people (one was also from ADK). The 4 of us paddled out and watched the full moon and fireworks from West Point September 5, 2009

Hudson River Paddle, Coxsackie, NY                            Looking for Bald Eagles.  Saw 1 immature and many other birds.                                                                              Very enjoyable paddle by myself.                                                                                                    September 6, 2009
